Networking Opportunity
Christian Leadership Alliance Oklahoma (CLA) is pleased to announce a new relationship with Community Spirit Magazine to support them launching a new association called The Fellowship of Christian Nonprofits (FCN).
CLA Oklahoma will provide the valuable management and leadership trainings to equip members of the greater para church and church leadership community like we always have and FCN will add a valuable monthly networking element.
FCN will be a for-profit, member-based advertising co-op whose purpose is to assist Christian nonprofits, helping them achieve greater exposure and support, while encouraging them to join together to build community and share the good news of Jesus Christ. It will be owned and operated by McCloud Media as a profit center for Community Spirit Magazine.
The FCN will meet on a monthly basis for lunch and to hear a 20 minute talk from someone who is an expert at one aspect of running a nonprofit. FCN will promote the quarterly CLA training sessions during the meeting. In turn, CLA will help promote FCN to its members. “
We determined in our initial meeting FCN will not be a hindrance to CLA, but will rather help to build synergy across the nonprofit community,” says Tom McCloud, FCN Founder. Current VP of CLA Oklahoma Gene Gregg went on to say, “We have developed this exciting new relationship to make the most of CLA Oklahoma’s training focus and FCN’s networking arm.”
The first FCN is tentatively scheduled on the first Wednesday of January, the 6th, with a meeting following each first Wednesday of the month.
